With most of Middleton lakes frozen over avian activity was restricted to the River Tame and the small pockets of open water which remained. Here are a few images from along the river today

Hi John and Sue, Hope you're keeping warm I think its pretty cold even in Cornwall at the moment.Some great opportunities for photography yesterday. Even our disused Midland gravel pits looked stunning in the snow and frost. Bob
