Last year I discussed the unsightly and dangerous proliferation of used Chinese Lanterns littering our countyside. There have now been a good number of documented records of animals suffering and or dying as a result of the lanterns. The RSPCA have taken up the case and have organised a petition calling for these Lanterns to be banned.
