A disappointing day bird wise. Did a local walk looking for incoming migrants. Plenty of winter migrants still about on the pastures near Caldecote but no summer migrants yet. Did slightly better in the Tame valley with my first Sand Martins. Small groups at Dosthill and Hemlingford Water, Kingsbury Water Park. There was a flock of 13 Oystercatchers near the Water ski pit at Dosthill but apart from that very little. I managed to dip the Bearded Tit, Twice! So a disappointing conclusion to the day.
Oystercatcher, 10 of the 13 birds at Dosthill
