Bluethroat at Doxey Marshes, Stafford


Sunday 20th May 2012
Managed to get a few images of my first West Mids. Bluethroat. The bird was quite elusive in the afternoon only occasionally climbing the reeds to show itself well near the entrance to Doxey marshes just outside Stafford. Keep working the patches lads theres more stuff to be found yet!

    Brilliant shots, just showed the pics to Tina. Really jealous, we havem't seen a blue throat yet, so fingers crossed he sticks around!

    Superb pics Bob.Well done.I see it's a red spotted bluethroat and not a white spotted one that was at Welney a year or two ago.
