A selection of shots of the White winged Black Tern that turned up in the central area of RSPB Middleton Lakes:

There were also 17 Black tailed Godwits on site.

      Cheers fellas - first thanks to Geoff for finding the little gem and yes it was tricky Max, the sun was the main problem so I just played about with the settings till I fluked something worthwhile
